So it’s been a long frickin’ day.
It’s Sunday yet I got up at half 5 this morning because I’d arranged to meet a group of photography buddies to go and take some early morning photos and in all honesty, it was absolutely brilliant! I took loads of shots but haven’t had time to edit so this’ll have to suffice for now:
When I got back, I chilled out in bed with Lee for a bit, watching a bit of TV and warming up because it was literally 1 degree Celsius when I was taking the photos (I swear I could not feel my feet!).
Boredom got the better of me after a little while (apparently I can’t sit and do nothing anymore, I blame this year my mind and body are just so used to non-stop stimulation!) so I went out and took some more photos, this time for my photography class. These haven’t been edited yet either but hopefully will show you in the next few days.
When I got back, Lee had just bought us a new vacuum and as my car hadn’t been cleaned in about a year, I gave that a whirl and it was bloody brilliant, Henry is my favourite new household cleaning accoutrement, no more cylinder cleaners for me!
While I was out taking photos, I’d picked up some plants for the garden (winter pansies, cyclamen, bulbs and a rose bush) to brighten up the garden over the winter and help develop it in the long term. So after the car was sparkly, I moved on to the garden and got rid of all the summer annuals and planted most of the new plants (though had no time for the bulbs unfortunately).
Whilst the gardening was going on, I’d put pork paprikash on the stove for dinner, so after gardening Lee and I sat down to a film and a pretty tasty and tender pork dinner.
Then it was on to making lunch for the next three days which is Broccoflower with Spicy Italian Sausage, unfortunately I didn’t have broccoflower or spicy sausage so I made do with cauliflower and normal sausage with some paprika and cumin added in!
I’ve literally only had time to wash my hair and blog and it’s half 9, phew, holiday is in a week and I in all honestly could use the break!
