What I Ate Wednesday……And I Did Maybe Briefly Consider Not Eating The Nachos.

See, the thing is that Wednesday is hard day at my new job and so the day I’m most likely to have a cheat meal in terms of Primal when it comes to dinner.

Now, that makes WIAW a pain in the patooty because either I lie about what I ate and put a really healthy Primal meal, or I put what I have and become a bad bad Primal eater……..and hopefully justify it a little with the 80/20 rule of trying to eat 80% good, which I think I more or less tend to manage…

Any who, dinner was very tasty nachos with mince beef cooked in with the nacho salsa and some puree and it just makes for a really tasty little dinner and the carbs really help soothe me which is great on a day like this when I just want to chill out, not so much on days where I want to keep going in the evening but thankfully I tend to ixnay the carbs on those days.

Breakfast was my probably boring, but very tasty, easy, filling and sustaining breakfast bake:

Snacks were a banana and 9bar which are my new discovery.  They’re not perfectly primal but they’re still pretty healthy for a snack bar and tasty to boot and sometimes I just need something to chow down on when I’ve got my tough Wednesday at work and these do the job beautifully!

On the flip side, I went to the doctors with a swollen finger yesterday and it turns out it’s infected, which means I’m on antibiotics (one of my least favourite things ever) which has resulted in having a bit of a dodgy tummy, so I think tomorrow’s food plan will no doubt be decidedly more bland!
